MORE RECRUITS

(WEEK'S TOTAL 211 | .SHORTAGE STILL EXISTS NORTHERN DISTRICT FIGURES Recruiting was not- affected last week by the Easter holidays, and 211 young men in the northern military district registered for the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force. This compares with 203 for the previous week and brings the district's total since recruiting was started to 1f).877. the highest in New Zealand.
