AUCKLAND COLTS WIN MARGIN OF 92 RUNS CENTURY TO B. SUTCLIFFE The colts' cricket match between Auckland and Tarannki was concluded at Eden Park yesterday, and resulted in a win for the home side by 92 runs. On the; first day of: play Auckland was dismissed l'or 89 runs and Taranaki replied with 57. Auckland in its second innings lost four wickets for 126 runs. With an improvement in the conditions, better scoring resulted yesterday. A ieature ol the day's play was the good exhibition of 13. The home team was weakened by the absence or 10 players in the Bay of Plenty team which is challenging Manawatu for the Hawke Cup. The first innings of the visitors produced 200 runs, to which Rotorua could reply with only 101. In tlio second innings D. Rilchie ami K. McMahon hit out freely as opening batsmen to knock up 54 and 31 respectively for Grafton, and this was followed by a sound 30 by J. Felts, the innings closing with (lie score at I(>7 for eight wickets. Rotorua failed to show up well in the second innings, the bowling being too consistent, and R.
