MOUNT ALBERT SOCIETY Tho autumn flower show of the Mount Albert Horticultural Society was held yesterday iu the King (ieorge Mall, Mount Albert. The number of entries was considerably greater than last year, totalling about 200. ICxhibits were well ti|> to the standard of previous years, and the children's section again was outstanding. The judges were: Dahlias, open and amateur, and out (lowers. Mr. (.'. (). Hopkins; novice dahlias, Mr. A. GVombie; children's section, Mrs. K. . Heatley; decorative section, Mrs. K. Snieed. Special and championship prizes in tho dahlia section are:—Open section: Niknu Challenge Cup for J'J varieties of giant decorative: B. Haggo. 1; I?. Hart. A. Orombiij, :t. Amateur section—Scotting Challengo ('tin for six varieties of giant decorative: A. Cole, 1; K. Hart. C. P. Worle.v, Special amateur and novice section-—Andrew's Challenge, Cup for six varieties of small decora* tives: A. Cole, 1; It. Sinclair, '2. Championshins—Champion giant decorative: 13. Haggo's "Phyllis Knight." Champion medium decorative: A. (pole's "Balcgoes Glory." Champion vase of pompoms: IL Haggo. Champion semi or garden .cactus: B. Haggo's "Mrs. G. \V. Hutchinson." Champion seedling: A. Crombie. Champion vase of charms: S. A. Greenough's "Norma Mac.k." Champion of champions: B. Haggo's "Mrs. G. \V. Hutchinson."
