King Country and southern districts came forward at the Morrinsvillo stock sale to-day. Coinpetition for aged ewes was keen, but two-tooths wore dull of sale. Late rates were maintained for a medium entry of fat sheep.

Store cattle from southern districts came forward in large numbers. Grown steers sold freely, but smaller lines were not so keenly sought. Polled Angus and Hereford heifers and young cows met with keen competition, but young heifers were dull of sale. Competition for primo baconers and porkers was keen and values wero slightly in advance of last week's sale. There was a keen demand for choppers and store and weaner pigs.
