AUCKLAND DIVISION REPORT PAST YEAR'S PROGRESS A comprehensive survey of ilie nast year's progress is contained in the first annual report of the Girls' Life Brigade, Auckland Division, for presentation to the divisional council. The report states that although the report is the first annual one for the Auckland division, there had been live annual meetings previous t<> this when the movement was known as tlie Auckland Battalion of the Girls' Life Brigade. The strength of the division was 2-~> companies, including 70 officers, three warrant officers, fi.'Vl girls and i?(57 cadets. There had been an increase of 21 new officers, four chaplains and four companies, an indication that the work was growing steadily. The international youth council, continues the report, was a new movement started in May of last year with a view to co-operating all youth activities on a common meeting ground. An age limit for representatives had been fixed from ]5 to 'SO.
