CENTENNIAL ATLAS
PUBLICATION DEFERRED Owing to wartime difficulties in obtaining paper and binding materials, it has been found necessary to postpone the publication of the New Zealand Centennial Atlas, which was to have made its appearance about the end of this year. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, states that the project will definitely not be abandoned. The postponement is the more regrettable because the number of orders received tshows that much interest has been aroused. Subscribers will be notified individually and given an opportunity of cancelling or deferring their orders. Unfortunate as the delay is, the atlas will be all the better for the additional time available for historical and other research within the Dominion and overseas. Expected to be the largest book ever published in New Zealand, the atlas will- contain about 120 pages of maps, with full letterpress and an index.
