"OVER THE MOON"
BRIGHT FILM FOR CENTURY Merle Oberon, portraying a young woman suddenly acquiring great wealth, and Rex Harrison, cast as an idealistic young country doctor mainly concerned with his professional standards, offer an intriguing contrast of character in their romance unfolded in "Over the Moon," an English comedydrama which begins a season at the Century Theatre to-day. Alexander Korda, who was responsible for the outstanding pictures "Four Feathers" and "Sanders of the River," among many others, was the producer. A marriage of elements obviously so incompatible as the central figures would hardly seem to augur well for the future, but the picture proves that often fiercely opposing personalities are drawn to one another. Apart from this interesting psychological aspect "Over the Moon" ranks among the most original and entertaining films produced in recent months.
