MINISTER FAREWELLED

A farewell was tendered by members of the Auckland Presbvtery at a morning tea in George Court's reception room yesterday to the Rev. D. M. Cattanach. who after four and a-half years at St. George's Church. Takapuna, will leave to-day for Hastings, where he will he inducted in his new charge of St. Andrew's Church. The moderator of the presbytery, the Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes, said Mr. Cattanach had given outstanding service in Auckland, especially as convener of the extension committee and the General Assembly's missions committee. He presented him with a cheque on behalf of the members of the presbytery. A tribute to the work done' by Mr. Cattanach as convener of the missions committee was paid by the Rev. D.-N. MacDiarmid.
