OPERA PERFORMANCE
Gounod's fatuous opera "Faust" will l>o presented by .the' Auckland Amateur Operatic Society from May 2 to 11. .Lending * soloists will participate, and a professional orchestra, will bo conducted by Mr. Anderson Tyrer, also of England. Applications for. membership in the , chorus are invited, details, being advertised.
