ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY
PRISON TERMS INCREASED [FROM OtIR OWN COIUIKSI'ONDKNT] HAMILTON. Wednesday Two youths aged 19, Sam Repia and Allan Farquhar Young, pleaded guilty in the Hamilton Police Court, before Mr. S. L. Paterson. S.M., to-day to a charge of escaping from lawful custody. Senior-Sergeant G. H. Lambert, who prosecuted, said the accused escaped from the Waikeria Borstal Institute on January 19. They were recaptured at Arohena, not far from Waikeria, two days later. Both accused had formidable lists of previous convictions. Young had escaped three times before, and Repia once. Both were convicted and sentenced to an additional three months' imprisonment.
