BRITAIN AND FRANCE MEASURES TO REDUCE (Received February 7, 5.30 p.m.) British "Wireless LONDON, Feb. G The steps taken in consultation with France to reduce the restrictions on trade between Britain and France were mentioned by Sir. R. S. Hudson, Parliamentary Secretary of Overseas Trade, in. the House of Commons. He emphasised the desire of Britain to reduce these restrictions to a minimum compatible with war necessities. Under the reoent British and . French financial agreement purchases from France stood in a different category from those from other countries which required jto jib© foreign exchange.
