AGAINST MOTORIST [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION"] TlMATluf Tuesday In the Supreme Court to-day the grgnd. jury, returned a true bill against Lawrence William Cantwell on a charge of driving a car in a negligent manner on the Timaru-Pleasant Point highway on December 2, thereby causing the death of Heleu Eva McAuliffe. After a'retirement of four hours the common jury disagreed and Mr. Justice Northcroft granted an application for a new trial to commence to-morrow morning.
