POET OF AUCKLAND WAIPIATA ON MONDAY MATAI LANDS CREW MEMBER Waipiata, Union Company steamer, left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon for Auckland, via Wellington. Site is duo here on Monday. Hie Government lighthouse vessel Matai returned to port at 9.30 on Thursday night to land a sick member of the crew. The steamer did not berth but anchored in the stream to pick up a relief. Departure for the Gulf was made shortly after four o'clock yesterday morning. VESSELS IN PORT Prince's Wharf —Waiana (U.S.S.). Central Wharf—George M. Embiricos (K.P.). Western Wharf —Omana (U.S.S.). The Union Company's steamer Kiwitea is due from Westport this morning. She will berth at Prince's Wharf. The Northern Company's steamer Bonaki is expected to arrivo at Onehunga from Baglan and Kawhia at eight o'clock this morning. She will sail again for Hokianga at noon. Work on the Kempthorno, Prosscr chartered steamer Goorgo M. Embiricos was stopped by rain yesterday, but was resumed later in the afternoon. Tho vessel is at Central Wharf. Tho Anchor Lino motor-vessel Puriri left Onehunga at 10 p.m. yesterday for Nelson, but did not cross tho Manukau bar because of unfavourable weather. It was to proceed when possible.
Leaving Dunedin en route for Auckland on Monday, the Watchlin Lino motor-ship Port Waikato will call at Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is not due until February 4, when sho will discharge and load again for Southern ports. PORT OF ONEHUNGA Yesterday's Arrival. —Hokianga (0.15 a.m.), from Hokianga.
