Wednesday A mail agod 31, Eugene Charles Dominic Patrick McCarthy, who was arrested on Christmas Day on an indecent assault charge, escaped from the Palmerston North lock-up between 7.15 and 7.45 this evening. McCarthy is a man of slim build, oft. 7sin. in height. He has a fresh complexion, brown hair and blue eyes and is profusely tattooed on the right forearm. He was wearing a dark blue suit, but a light fleck gives it a grey appearance.
