BICYCLE FORK BREAKS [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Wednesday Fatal injuries were suffered by John Leslie Simmons, aged 17, when the front fork of tho bicycle he was riding at Mititai snapped, throwing him on to the roadway. Tho injured youth was admitted to the Northern Wairoa Hospital at To ICopurti, whore ho died nine hours later without regaining consciousness. He suffered serious head injuries. An inquest was opened before tho district coroner, Mr. J. A. McLean, and adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken.
