JAPANESE AIR RAIDS MISSION HOUSE DESTROYED TOWN'S THREE-DAY ORDEAL (Received December 20, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 28 Chinese sources at Chungking report the bombing and destruction of the China Inland Mission at Hochu, in the Shansi Province, by Japanese airmen. A Norwegian missionary, Mr. Ptorjesen, was killed. A messago from Shanghai states that the Japanese Army and Navy are jointly said to have carried out the greatest mass air raids of the war on Lanchow, which was subjected to three days of bombing—"a brilliant prelude to the anniversary of the founding of the Japanese Empire." WILL NOT RESIGN JAPANESE CABINET TOKIO, December 28 The Prime Minister, General Abe, says the Cabinet does not intend to resign and will riot be troubled by "the manoeuvres of professional politicians."
