Mrs. H. Lan Simson left Auckland by motor-car for Rotorua yesterday. Miss Thorold Clerk, Bassett Road, Remuera, is spending a holiday at Manly. Mrs. Cliff Nicholson, Maungakiekie Avenue, Green Lane, is spending a fishing holiday at Taupo. Mrs. F. Locke, of Waitara. is visiting her mother, Mrs. M. McDonald, Arney Road, Remuera. Mrs. Nello Porter, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, left last night for a visit to Wellington and Nelson. Mrs. Ronald Malion, of Gisborne, is spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs. R. J. Koefoed, Orakei. Miss Nell Tudhope, of Aldred Road, Renruera, is spending a. fortnight cruising on a launch in the Hauraki Gulf. Miss Marjorie Hutton arrived from Wellington yesterday and is visiting Mrs. J. M. Ca'rpenter, of Remuera Road. Mrs. Clongh Blundell, of To Awamutu, and Miss June Blundell, are visiting Auckland for the racing carnival. Mrs. .T. F. Millward, of Wangamii, who lias been spending Christmas in Rotorua, is now staying with friends in Devonport. AI iss Joan Stewart, of Wairero Road, Remuera, is spending a fortnight's holiday as the guest of Mrs. H.E. I-ial-stead, Ohope Beach, Whakatane. Mrs. D. R. Revell. of Tawera Road, One Tree Hill, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Margaret McFlinn. will leave to-day by car for a tour of the South Island. Mrs. H. F. Prothero. of Westbourne Road, Remuera, will leave with her family on January 2 to spend a holiday at Liike Taupo. She will be accompanied by Mrs. Hoyes, of St. Stephen's Avenne, "Parnell.
