Howard, has drawn up tho programme for the club's sports to be held on tho Morrinsville speedway on January 2. Tho big raco of tho day will be a i'lli'l professional one-mile cycle handicap. Tho winner will receive X'GO, a cycle rraine worlh .CO and a i'2 2s sash. The prize for second will be £ls. for third £lO, for fourth X's, and £lO will bo divided among winners of heals. In addition to this there is a £2 2s cup for fastest time. There will also be seven other cycling events and six athletic events, besides wrestling bouts and further special Items. Among the latter will bo new features hitherto not seen at a sports meeting in New Zealand. Tho prizenioncy will total £3SO.
