NEW SUB-ASSOCIATION [IT.OII OUR OWN CORHKSroNDKNT] WHANG ARE I, Tuesday A meeting of delegates from the various tennis clubs in the western and southern section of the Whangurei area decided to form a sub-association of the North Auckland Association, to he called the Central Lawn Tennis Sub-Association. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. T. O'Carroll; president, Mr. G. Child; vice-presidents, Messis. A. Stephen, J. T. Stephen, and the presidents of the Mangapai and Springfield Clubs; secretary, Mr. P. Leech; delegates to North Auckland Association, Messrs. P. Leech and L. Meyer; committee, Messrs. G. Child, A. McLennan, J. Price, N. Farrell, L. Meyer, J. Carter, B. Leech and P. Leech.
