CLASSIC CLUB CONCERT

REQUEST ITEMS GIVEN The final recital this season of the Classic Club"was held in the Overseas League rooms, and was presided over by Dr. S. Kenneth Phillips. A delightful programme, comprising largely request items, was presented, songs being given by Miss Olive Ball, Miss Gwenda Weir, Miss Nancye O'Connor, Mrs. W. J. Angel I. Miss Edna Smith, Miss .Toan Moody, Mrs. Nigel White, Miss Meryl Harvey, Miss Judith Glover, Miss Phyllis Renner, Mr. John Ford, Mr. Stewart Harvey and Mr. Henry Dorfaldson; duets by Miss Rachel Mawliinney and Mr. Henry Donaldson; and pianoforte solos by Mrs. P. Sliolto Smith, Miss Tui Ward, Miss Agnes A burn and Miss Freda Crook.
