MISSIONARY'S RETURN
INDIA AND THE WAR There were no signs of the native population of India taking advantage of Britain's war difficulties to press their claims, according, to the Rev. E. W. Crigg, who has returned to Auckland after serving in the Indian mission fields for two years. He said there was 110 violence and no disloyalty among the people at. the outbreak of war, and the one desire seemed to be that Britain should be victorious.
Mr. Grigg, who was formerly minister at St. Alban's Baptist Church, Christchurch. visited England and Palestine before going to India, which he left for health reasons. His parents reside at Leigh, North Auckland.
