1940 OLYMPIC GAMES
(Received October 30, 5.5 p.m.) CHICAGO, Oct. 20 The announcement by the president' of the Olympic Committee, Mr. Avery Brundage, that the 1910 Olympic Games will bo hold in Detroit if Kinland renounces them, was made in error/ The American committee has not been nonsuited on the matter. , A message from • Helsinki says the chairman of the Finnish Olympic Committee stated that Finland does not intend to give up the Games.
