YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on the New Zealand Stock Exchanges and the yield, at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is included, and allowance is made for British income tax where necessary. The yield on Government loans and local body loans includes redemption and an allowance for brokerage.

TELEGBAPH —I'BESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Monday The directors of the Bank of New South Wales will recommend at the annual on November 24 payment of a dividend for the quarter ended September 30 of 6s a share, Australian currency. The fourth quarter's distribution of 6s a share will make 2-ls a share for the year, equal to 6 per cent, an unchanged rate. BROKEN HILL SOUTH FINAL DIVIDEND OF 6D Broken Hill South, Limited, Melbourne, has declared a quarterly dividend of 6tl a share, payable ui Melbourne on December 15.
