WHANG AREI, Monday At a dance in the Hukerenui Efnll electricity was officially switched on in that district, the ceremony being, performed by the. chairman of the North Auckland Power Board. Mr*. J. A. .McLean. Two other members of the board. Messrs. F. Elliott and R. Nesbitt. also spoke. The chairman of the Hukerenui Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Mr. F. Plisle, spoko for the residents of the district.
