MOORE APPOINTED (Received October 29, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless LONDON, Oct. 2b Sir Henry Moore has been appointed Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Kenya in succession to Air Chie; Marshal Sir Robert Brooke-Popham, who recently relinquished the post' of Governor to take 'up duty with the Roval Air Force. - _ Sir Alan Burns 1 . Governor of British Honduras, succeeds Sir Henry Moore as assistant-Under-Secretary at the Colonial Office.
Sir Henry Moor«, who has been assistant-Under-Secretary at the Colonial Office since 1937, was ColomalSecretary of Kenya from 1529 to 1934. Sir Alan Burns has'been Governor and Commander-in-Chief of British Honduras since 1934.
