MURDER AT PEKING

FATE OF A CHINESE PEKING. Oct. 27 A former leader under Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, Liu Yi-shih, who later supported the Jnpp.neso puppet regime in North China, was assassinated when entering a French hospital to visit his father, who was wounded in another attempt to kill Liu Yi-shih a fortnight ago. Japanese gendarmes surrounded tho hospital, but tho assassin escaped.
