LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Epsom.—An enjoyable afternoon was spent by the Epsom branch recently. Mrs. J. M. Elliffc presided and welcomed visitors from Lower Hutt and Wanganui. Mrs. E. Haywood gave an interesting account of a world tour from which she had just returned. .Songs were given by Mrs. Beamish and Mrs. A. I). Stewart, and tho committee served afternoon tea.

Mount Eden. —This branch of the League of Mothers met recently, when Airs. Hunter gave a talk on gardening. Two recitations wero contributed by Miss F-. Wells, and tea was served by Mrs. Pow, Mrs. Gilbert, Mrs. Batten, Mrs. Whitehead and Mrs. White.
