Molotoff, will address an extraordinary meeting of the Supremo Soviet Council in Moscow on Tuesday. He will review the international situation. After the meeting an important decision will be announced.
FORTIFYING FRONTIER RUSSIANS IN POLAND TROOP CONCENTRATIONS PROTESTS AT OCCUPATION (Received October 29, 6.41 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 28 Russian sappers are erecting fortifications all along the German-Soviet frontier in Poland, says a message from Cernauti, Rumania. Russian troops are concentrating in East Galicia, particularly at Kolomyja. The concentrations extend to Sniatyn. Poland's protest to the League of Nations against the German and Soviet division of Poland, and the cession of Vilna to Lithuania, lias been published, says the Geneva correspondent of the British United Press. This is tantamount to recognition by the League of the Polish Government established in France. The Polish legation at Lisbon, Portugal, has issued a statement protesting against a suggestion that Poland should renounce the territories occupied by the Soviet, says a message from the representative of the Exchange Telegraph Company in the Portuguese capital. "Neither the Polish nor other Governments will recognise a plebiscite carried out under foreign military ocoupation," says the statement. FIRST HOSPITAL TRAIN (Received October 29, 6.-11 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 29 What may be the first of many ambulance trains arrived at a railway station near London bearing sickness and accident cases. Between 50 and 60 stretchers placed on the platform were used to carry the patients to waiting motor coaches, which conveyed them to hospital. A second train soon followed. There were few onlookers.
