FOOTBALLER INJURED

A former !North Auckland and Auckland representative footballer, K. M. Frnnich, who used to play for the Grammar Old Boys' Club in Auckland, suffered a fractured leg in the last game of his career, while playing for Waitete in the King Country Union's senior championship. AViiiteto was having its first season in senior football, and won both the Maniapoto and King Country championships. Franich's experience and ability at first, live-eights was a great help to his team, and it was mainly duo to his fine all-round ability that Waiteto was successful in annexing both tho championships.
