INTER-CLUB MATCH TITIRANGI BEATS AUCKLAND SUCCESS IN TWO GRADES An inter-club match played yesterday between members of the Titirnngi and Auckland Golf Clubs resulted in a win for Titirnngi. In the A grade at Titirangi the home team won 14 games to three, one being all square, Titirnngi was also successful in the B grade at Middlemore, winning nine matches to six, with three all square. BOND BEATS MacGREGOR

The final of the Waitemata Golf Club's championship resulted in a win for S. Bond, who defeated A. MaeC.regor at the 36th. niter an evenly-contested match. Bond was 2 up at the end of the morning round, but at the 3.5 th, the match was all square. MacGregor took two to recover from a bad shot at the final hole, Bond sinking a good putt to clinch the issue.

Porteous, 206, and J. Budge and W. Dickinson, 298, were tho next best. Tho Howey Walker trophies were finalised over 36 holes, and resulted in a win for R. M. Black and A. E. Wilson, who defeated H. Madden and D. Macnirol. Black and Wilson maintained their morning lead of 2 up to win by 1 and 3.
