"BLAME IT ON HITLER"
REVELLER'S PLEA IN COURT "Blame all this on Hitler. It is his fault for upsetting nil tlio old folks and tho kids, and for putting me in a state of nerves." This statement was made at Glasgow Southern Police Court by David Martin, who was charged with a breach of tho peace and with having smashed four plate-glass windows, valued at £2O. He was sentenced to 30 days' imprisonment. "1 tried to join up in Birmingham, but they would not have mo," ho added, "and so I camo to Glasgow. I had a few shillings left, and I wanted to spend it before joining up."
