TEAMS FOR NEXT WEEK-END

The teams match between the Auckland -and Titirnngi Golf Clubs, which was postponed from September 24, will be played next week-end. The following teams, will represent Titirangi:—

B Team.—J. Carnachan. R. W Christensen, L. J. Clifford, N. A. Naismith, P. Harrison. J. Grierson, B. A, Kingan, A. N. Taylor, J. Gilmour, H. V. Ganlcy, A. Shorter and L. Knight.

Pupukc,—The Labour Day golf tournament was concluded in fine weather. In the final of the main event G. Haden beat C. H. Palmer, 1 up. In tho semi-finals Palmer beat P. W. Cantwcll, l up, and Haden beat E. L. Ryaii, 2 and 1. A four-ball bogey was won by G. C. Malcolm and W. J. Thompson, who finished 7 up, and the same pair was successful in a Canadian foursome with a card of 71, B—G3.

MANUKAU CHAMPIONSHIP win for s. Mcdonald [from HERALD COIIItKSPONDHNTs] Tho championship final of tho Manukau Golf Club resulted in a win for fe. McDonald, who defeated G. E. Revel!, 5 and 4. McDonald's first round was 70 and in the afternoon play he wafi level with bogey at tho 14th, where the match ended. At the commencement Revell was confident and won the second and third holes, but his lead was reduced during tho next six holes. McDonald then commenced to produce his true form and at the 18th held a lead of 2 up. He increased his lead in the afternoon round, (he match being decided at tho 14th green. ,

Morrinsville,—A Stablcford bogey competition during the week-end was won by 11. White, with a score of 31, J. B. Simons, 33, being the runner-up. White also won tho bogey scramble. Mangatawhiri Ladies.—The final of the handicap for the president's trophy resulted in a win for Mrs. Motion, who defeated Mrs. A. Pope, 3 and 2. At tho closing day foursomes held on Labour Day, A. Pope and Miss Twining beat W. Motion and Miss Hudson. I

Palm Springs.—Senior championship final: A. C. Dannefaerd. beat E. T. Huyne, G and 5. Junior championship semi-finals: W. S. Thorne beat H. S. Mcllsop. 5 and 4; P. W. Thorno won by default. A one-day club tournament resulted in a win for E. T. Hayne.

Te Puke.—For the third time this season M. Kensington broke the course record of the Te. Puke Club, completing the round in U7. bettering his own record by one.

LADIES' COMPETITIONS BOGEY MATCH AT TITIRANGI Following were the results of a bogey match played yesterday by members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club: —Seniors: Mrs. A. H. O'Leary, all square; Mrs. D. R. Walker, Miss' A. Ilacket, 2 down; Mrs. M. H Russell. 3 down. Juniors: Mrs. M. Adams, 1 down; Miss M. Wright, 2 down; Mrs. W. C. Leys. Mrs. R. W. Olsen. 3 down. Auckland.—A medal round for prizes presented by Miss K. Clark resulted-as follows: Seniors: Mrs. M. Benjamin, BS, 17 —71; Miss N. McCormiek, 88, 15—73; Miss C. Hainger, 93, 17—70; Mrs. G. Ferguson, 84, 0—78; Mrs. R. G. Rainger, 95, 17—78; Juniors: Mrs R. 1 G. Bennett, 101, 32 —09; Mrs. J. F. Wright, 101, 30—71; Miss P. Wootton, 102, 30—72; Mrs. E. P. Neale, 95, 23—72; Miss M. Graham, 91. 19—75. The prize presented by Mrs. N. C. Whitcombe for tho best prross score returned by a junior player was won by Miss M. Graham. Waitemata.—The club championship was won h.v Mrs. W. Walker, who-defeated Mrs. J. Ford. 1 tip in the final. The winner-of the gold button aruJ an L.G.U. bronze medal was Mrs. L. Hill'. A club trophy was won h.v Mrs. J. R. Proctor, while an L.G.U. match was won by Mrs. Mace. Mrs. Stubbs won a sealed hole competition played in the second division. Otahuhu.—Closing day will be held to-day, when Canadian foursomes will be played, players to choose partners. The presentation of trophies will be made'at- 1.30 p.m.
