PLAY AT WHANGAREI ' [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday In the first baseball matches played at Whangarei an Auckland team defeated a Whangarei team by 31 points to 0. The newly-formed Tni team frorn Whangarei was defeated by a team of Mormon elders by 10 to 7. AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION The following matches have been arranged for Saturday by the Auckland Baseball Asso nation: —Collegians v. Y.M.C.A., Sturges Park, 2 p.m., Messrs. Kovar and TTendlej Pioneers v. Otahuhu, Sturges Park, 15 p.m., Messrs. Buck, Inglis, Woods; Richmond v. Milne and Choyce, Fowlds Park, 3 p.m., Mr. Davcrne; Mormons B v. Training College, 2 p.m., Mr. Davcrne; Lucas Lions v. Mormons, 2 p.m., Mr. Larsons North Shore Rugby v. Training College, Training College, 2 p.m., Mr. Neithe; Training College Blues v. Owni Rovers. Edendale School, 2 p.m., Mr. C. Shanks. ____
