CHAMPIONSHIPS AT PERTH

Eight New Zealand pacors havo been entered for tho liUcr-Dominion Championships,! to bo hold at Gloucester Park,' Porth, West Australia,- on February 7, 10, 1-1 and 17. Although they do not represent tho highest class, the horses are a useful lot. Tlioso entered are Grand Mogul, Plutus,Icevus, Gallant Knight, Colonel Grattan, Token, Nervie's Last and Ucnuku. The limit set for the championship races is a 2.11 mile rate, the distances bcinj? one mile, a mile and a-half and two miles, with the grand final run over 13 furlongs. Much may depend upon the form of the horses at the spring and summer meetings whether their engngonents are continued. The Inclusion of Uenuku should givo added interest to his displays a.t the next few meetings in Auckland.
