HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS Labour Day will be observed as a holiday. Mails usually despatched on Mondays beforo. 7.15 a.m.-will close at 4 a.m. and those after 7.15 a.m. at the latter hour, with the exception that mails for southern offices for despatch by the limited express will close at the chief post office, Auckland, at 5.15 p.m. Late fee: Chief post office, (>.30 p.m.; railway station box, 7.5 p.m. •The usual night clearance of the street receivers will be mnde on both Monday evening and the preceding Sunday. Outgoing air mails (letterH only) will close at tho usual time, while incoming air mails will he sorted immediately on arrival. There will bo no delivery by postmen.
