The Auckland provincial amateur snooker championship for the Billiards, Limited, Cup was continued Jast evening at Messrs. Billiards, Limited's, showrooms, when games in Ihe quarter-finals were commenced. R Whitford defeated 11. D. Brinsdcn, (11—10, 7:s—:S(i, and R. Carrick defeated J. J. Shepherd. Wh.vle will meet the title-holder, L. F. W. Holdsworth, at 5.30 o'clock.
