WRESTLING
PINDER-BLOMFIELD BOUT Earl McCrcady, fresh from his hardearned victory over Lofty Blomfield at Auckland, will have nno more match before ho leaves New Zealand, hut at tho moment his opponent has not been chosen. This will be decided at Auckland on Monday, when Prince Bhu Pinder faces Lofty Blomfield, the winner being guaranteed a British Empire title match against McCrcady at Wellington tomorrow week. For the Wellington match McCrcady has been guaranteed a purse of £SOO, this being the first occasion the Wellington Association has put up a guarantee for \iu'klandcrs ll 'saw Pinder defeat Blomfiold by* one fall in tho Hindu's opening match and do not need to be told of his ability. Since then Blomfield has held the Indian to a draw in a bout that convinced his critics that lie could match the Indian for speed and skill. Blomfield has yet to score a win over Pinder, but he will have to win if lie wants to he McCrcady s opponent at Wellington. For that reason there should be more than usual interest in Mondays meeting between the New /Scalandor and the Indian.
