OBITUARY

MR. JOHN GEORGE HOGG [rr.OM orn.ow correspondent] V OTOROHAICGA, Thursday The death has occurred at Whawharua, near Otorohanga. of Mr. John G. Hogg, aged 66, a well-known and successful farmer. Born in Scotland, he arrived in the Dominion, as a child,, with his parents,' Mr. and Mrs. George Hogg',.who settled fit Wangartm. As a young man Mr. Hogg engaged in sheepfilrming and at one time man* aged the large estate of Mr. W ilhanl Duncan at Karioi. About 27 years agO he acquired a large farm at " hawharua, which he converted to a high' class dairying and sheep property. Bowling and horse racing wore his principal recreations. He is survived by his widow., The interment took place at Wangan'ui Cemetery.
