MISHAP WITH TOMAHAWK
MAN LOSES TWO FINGERS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ' WAIHI, Monday Injuries involving tho loss of the index finger and thumb of his left hand were suffered by Mr. John Anderson while working in tho Martha mine. At the time of tho accident Mr. Anderson was trimming a log with a tomahawk. The injured man was attended at the mine dressing station and was admitted to the Waihi Hospital.
