HIGH COUNCIL'S SESSION MANY , QUESTIONS CONSIDERED , (Received August 17, 7.10 p.m.) British Wireless LONDON', Aug. 16 The deliberations of the High Council .of the Salvation Army were continued to-day, and an official statement explains that it has been found necessary "in view of the importance of the issue" —the election of a new ceneral for the army and constitutional questions connected therewith—"carefully to explore many points which have a claim on the council's consideration." The statement adds: "One of the most outstanding features of the whole proceedings is the unity of. purposo and readiness to view matters from every angle by nil members, coming as they do from all parts of the world."
