AFTER-CARE COMMITTEE The annual meeting of tho Tuberculosis After-care Committee of tho Auckland Hospital Auxiliary was held nt the residence of tho convener, Mrs. F. Foord, Otnuhuri Crescent, Remuera, yesterday. In the absence of tho president, Mrs. A. D. Campbell, the vicepresident, Mrs. T. J. G. Neill, presided. In presenting the report of the year's work, the secretary. Miss Curson. stated that a total of 796 garments had been distributed, three dozen blankets, 42 pairs of shoes, 63 orders for extra nourishment, and seven hotwater bags. Itegret was expressed that Mrs. Smith Gray had resigned the convenership and a tribute was paid to her services, at the same time pleasure being expressed at her retention as a committee member. Sympathy was extended to both Mrs. A. 1). Campbell and Mrs. Smith Gray on account of their indisposition. The election of officers was ns follows:—Convener, Mrs. F. Foord; honorary minute secretary, Mrs. Mangos; treasurer and minute secretary, Miss L. Cumin; hospital' visitors, Mrs. Hooton, and. 3trs. Foord, Major Annie Gordon was elected a committee member.
