TEMPERANCE WORK

The monthly meeting of the Waiuku branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union held a home meeting nt the residence of Mrs. V. Binet recently. Mrs. J. K. Hnll presided. Two solos bv Miss Grace Allcock, and a duet by Miss F. Carlisle and Mrs. Legge were apreciated. An address on temperance was given by the Rev. V. Binet. Mrs. J. Ballantine gave the temperance fact, and two new members weru enrolled.
