Fisher (Sydney) are at the Centra 1 Hotel. Miss Joyce Harrowell. of Rftftui Road, Remuera, will return to Auckland by motor-car to-morrow after a holiday spent at the Chateau Tongariro. Mrs. Keith R. Buchanan, of Ridings Road, Remuera, who has been on a motor tour of the North Island, is at present at the Cheateau Tongariro Mrs. J. iMcKelvie, of Takapnna, will return to Auckland next Wednesday by the Wanganella from a visit to Australia and the Dutch East Indies.

Miss Lorna Preston returned to Auckland yesterday morning after a fortnight's visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Preston, Corsair Bay, Lyttelton.

Mrs. W. M. McCormick, of Remuera. who has been spending some time in the South of England, is now visiting Scotland. She will leave on her return to New Zealand at the end of September.
