Barrowclough, president of tbo Auckland branch of tho New Zealand Defence League, last evening. Tho meeting, which was presided over by the Mayor, Mr. W. M. Walluutt, was well attended. It was decided to form a branch of tho Dofenco Leaguo in Waihi, and the following committee was elected:— Messrs.. W. M. Wallnutt, E. H. McCarthny, E. 0. Westbury, W. Judge, H. Capamagian, and Mrs. E. H. Payze.
