EVENT AT WELLINGTON PLANNED FOR OCTOBER 27 Expected to bo one of the most spectacular balls in the history of New Zealand, the Centennial Exhibition ball will be held in Wellington on Friday, October 27. It will be, held in the large assembly hall at the exhibition, and the Welsh Guards Band will supply the music. Guests from overseas and from all over New Zealand are expected to be present. . At a recent meeting of the executive committee for the ball, it was announced that Their Excellencies the Governor-General, Viscounty Galway, and Lady Galway had signified their intention of being present. Admission is to be by invitation, and the tickets will be priced at 15s single and 303 double. It was aiso announced that no debutantes would be presented.
