REMOVAL FROM HASTINGS DISCOVERY BY POLICE [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS, Sunday A sedan motor-car taken from Hastings a short time previously was almost destroyed by fire on a rQinoto road eight miles from Hastings on Saturday night. The car was owned by Mr. C. H. Hammond, of Huntervillo, who arrived in Hastings on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Hammond's wife went to the thcatro that evening, leaving the car parked near by. It was missing when sho returned. The police wero advised by farmers that a car was blazing and found it to bo the missing vehicle. This theft followed a series of car conversions at Hastings.
