Tho official guests at the fortnightly gathering of the Auckland Orphnns Club in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday night wero tho president, Mr. C. D. Donovan, and tho exocntivo of tho Thames Orphans Club. The chairman, Mr. Kenneth Melvin, gave an interestiiiK talk on "Tho Witchery of Words." An enjoyable programmo included selections by tho orchestra under Mr. T. P. O'Connor.
