STABLE HAND INJURED '[by telegraph—OWN correspondent] GISBORNE. Saturday A heavy fall was suffered on the Park Domain this morning by Mr. Alan Murray, son of Mr. Loo Murray, Btartor for tho Poverty Bay Turf Club. Mr. Murray, who is 21, is a stable hand employed by Mr. W- Turnbull. Ho was schooling Royal Stewart over the hurdles when the horso ran off at the second jump. Mr. Murray was thrown out of the snddlo and dragged with ono foot in tho stirrup across tho wing of tho hurdle. As no stretcher was available, tho injured man was accommodated on a plank until tho arrival of a doctor. Later ho was taken to tho Cook Hospital. i •
