NEW NORTHCOTE . BUILDING . WORK NEARING COMPLETION; The new Dominican Convent in Onewa Eoad. Nortlicote, which replaces the old wooden structure destroyed bv fire last year, is Hearing completion. The new building is of brick with wooden floors and a tiled roof, and the interior will be plaster. The block has a froptage of 63 feet with a depth of 70;, feet, and a chapel is attached to theftront. In addition to the chapel, the grouiid floor will contain a sacristy, r.efectory, two music' rooms, parlour, community room and ordinary domestic facilities, while the top floor will contain provision for eight bedrooms. The cost is £7400. The architect is Mr. G. E. Tole, and the contractor, Mr. A. J. Good. , ■
