MATCH POSTPONED railway line flooded ' DECISION BY SOUTHLAND [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, Friday A decision was made b.v the Southland Rugby Union late this afternoon to postpone the Ranfurly Shield match to linvo been played between Otago and Southland to-morrow. It was reported to the committee by the Railway Department that because of the main line being flooded at McNab no trains woidd bo able to got through to Invercargill. The match will bo played at Invercargill next Saturday. Southland and Otago were to have played a return match at Dunedin next Saturday. That fixture will now be played at the end of September, after the Southland and Otago teams return from their northern tours.
